Elkamak PSK series crushers are rotary crushers with adjustable jaws. They are specially designed to crush medium and high strength materials (such as limestone, dolomite, stream, granite and basalt) to sizes suitable for use as filler in asphalt and concrete. These crushers can process large materials, produce cubic products, have high crushing degree, high efficiency and require low capital and operating costs. All these features make them ideal as secondary crushers in crushing and sorting plants.
The stone falling into the crusher is hit by the crushing elements in the first zone under the effect of the rotation of the rotor hammers and thus the first stage of the crushing process takes place. In this zone, high pressure and destructive force that can crush even very durable materials are created. If the crushed material reaches the required size, it moves to the second zone. The material moving to the second zone undergoes an additional crushing stage and is further reduced to a smaller size. The material then moves to the third and final zone where the final crushing stage takes place. As a result, the material is reduced to the smallest size.
